The Start Of Fall + TART Collections Fall Line

TART FALL COLLECTION 2016
Hey ladies! Happy FALL, im loving this chilly weather this week, the wind, the rain this morning, all of it! We have been hitting every pumpkin patch in the area since October 1st and cant get enough of all of the fun festivities. Im convinced October might be one of the best months for kiddos with all of the fun activities available, there are carnivals, pumpkin patches that offer rides, games, face painting, picking pumpkins, etc, carving pumpkins, apple picking making pies, and cant forget costumes and trick or treating. Its an eventful month thats for sure. Im so excited to go into this holiday season with my two little people, Layla is old enough to get to enjoy every little bit, and Cash is already talking about Christmas! With that said i've partnered with Tart Collections to share their Fall 2016 line with you all! I love Tart, i've wore their stuff in the past and the quality is so great, it holds up even after a zillion washes because being a mom of two my clothes are always a mess at the end of they day. Weekend Fun, Birthday Bash's & Pumpkin Pick'n

Weekend Fun, Birthday Bash's & Pumpkin Pick'n

Hey loves, I hope you're all enjoying this great Fall weather as much as we are over here! Im taking full advantage of wearing jeans and boots again & being outdoors as much as possible because its no longer blistering hot!!  Anywho, I have had a TON of questions about where i purchased my blouse i wore over the weekend and on Laylas little beanie she wore this morning. SO i figured i might as well do a little post on those items so you guys can quickly and easily find them.

We had a blast over the weekend celebrating our best friends little girl turning One! Its so bittersweet watching these babies grow up. On one hand you love seeing them hit their milestones and become little funny people with personalities but on the other hand you miss and grieve each baby stage they grow out of, like sucking their baby toes, cooing, and that yummy fresh newborn smell! GAH! i live for these sweet tender years, i just cannot even believe Layla is already 4.5 months old, this second kid thing sure does fly by!   We went to the pumpkin patch twice this past week, ill share photos from there later this week. And today we took the kids on a fun morning hike, if you follow me on snapchat (tessa_rayanne) im sure you have been seeing a little glimpse into our real life and my busy boy who is always wanting to explore and adventure, and i dont mind it one bit!

Anyhow, happy shopping & happy Fall!

The first blouse is the exact one i purchased and i actually shared it here a couple weeks ago when i ordered it online. Its $32 i mean, you cant beat that! Everyone needs a good pair of ripped skinnies and i just bought this pair of Ralph Lauren and i love them! They have the perfect amount of stretch to them. They actually fit me perfectly when i put them on and stretched out a little bit by the second time i wore them, so you could even go a size down if you wanted to and they'll stretch to fit you perfectly, or if you order true to size like i did they work just as well they'll just be a tiny bit of a looser fit on your 2nd or 3rd day of wearing them.  I couldnt find the boots i own because theyre a year old so i posted a couple budget friendly options for a tan ankle boot because everyone needs one, they go with evvvverything.  I hope you have fun! There are some other peasant blouse options i listed below as well because im in love with this look and could buy them all!

Also, Laylas gold bow headband is c/o Swirl On Top shop and you can find it here.

Fall Fashion Picks

Hey loves, this week started off sooo good with some real Fall weather. We had rain both yesterday and today, hurray!!! And some cooler weather and gloomy skies. Im so much more excited about candles, soup, and all things Fall when the weather matches! I just cant do soups and warm chunky sweaters when its 90 degrees out, who can?! Anyhow, which the cooler weather coming our way, finally, and hoping its here to stay.. lets get into some of my favorite current Fall picks! Most of these are budget friendly with the exception of a couple items that will last longer and that are better to splurge on, like a really good statement piece or a neutral sweater you can wear with pretty much everything. I love spending more on pieces that are timeless, like a good boot too! check out my picks below and be sure to share your favorites or places you love to shop online (easier for us mamas) for winter weather finds/good basics for warm or cold weather!

starting with a couple things i just ordered..
I ordered a black and dark gray of the v neck tees because theyre simple basics you can layer with cute sweaters or wear on warmer days with a pair of ripped jeans & lets face it for quality tees theyre only 14 on sale! . I ordered that cream peasant blouse because the details and the price! I ordered that free people loose boyfriend V neck that goes high to low (can be worn on or off the shoulder, love!) and im obsessed with the cut and fit, you will love it,... and its on sale (i ordered size small and bought it in lavender and love the grayish color tone to it.. i might need the maroon!). Below are a few other picks for Fall that i think are too cute to pass up.

Maternity Fashion

Maternity Fashion: With Some Non Maternity Pieces

Hey Ladies I hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far! We have a lot of fun things going on this weekend between a scheduled couples date night with friends of ours, a birthday party, and seeing some of high school buds in town hopefully as well. I wanted to share a few cute maternity fashion inpsired looks with you all. I love Dresses in general but there is simply nothing more comfortable on a growing waste than a dress.. so while pregnant i practically live in them during the Spring and Summer months. I also love love love kimonos, no surprise there, you guys see me in them all the time. And then I included some jean wear because thats also a comfty must have, as well as some comfortable stretchy maternity tanks, i live in these and just layer them with cute pieces. Most of these looks are non maternity, which means you can wear them AFTER baby, which i love! Because at this point, 26.5 weeks pregnant, the last thing i want to do is spend a bunch of money on clothes i might night ever wear again after these next 13.5 weeks are over. I'll probably be living in a bathing suit in a month or two here anyhow. IT IS GETTING HOT! And im loving it. So soak up the sun in some of these light weight cute pieces. Whether youre pregnant or not theyre too cute for me not to share with ya'll. ENJOY! Dont forget to subscribe and become a follower on the right hand side by entering your email ladies. MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL!

Bump Style Box: Maternity Looks

 Bump Style Box: Maternity Looks

Im so excited to share this great company for pregnant moms. BumpStyle Box contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I would like to try out their online subscription, of course after checking them out i was all in! Bump Style Box is a boutique maternity box filled with personally picked maternity or post pregnancy items just for you!  You can get one box or sign up for a once a month subscription for the duration of your entire pregnancy, how neat is that! No shopping out with your littles or walking around when you just don't feel up to it, its sent right to your door for free, and free returns! You just simply keep and pay for what you like and return the rest!  Its super simple.

Heres how it works:
You sign up on Bumpstylebox.com and fill in all of your details (your current size, style, upcoming occasians, colors you like, your personal preference whether you like dresses or jeans etc.  It even asks you your favorite places to shop so they get an idea of what you usually are into).

Then one of their stylists picks several different items that they think you would look great in & send the box your way. You have 5 days to choose which items you'd like to purchase or send everything back (free return label for shipping included). Its that simple!

I actually really enjoyed this process. I usually pick everything out for myself when i go shopping and im really particular, especially while pregnant and things don't always fit nicely or flatter my new shape.  But this was such a nice change and step outside of what I usually would have picked with some of the items that were sent.  I am so glad I tried them on because they looked so great with my baby bump. I think sometimes its hard to shop for your pregnant belly because we arent used to what it looks like dressed up in different styles. The stylist included a sweet note inside the box that encouraged me to try on one of her favorite dresses that she knew i might like even though I had said I didnt want any short dresses. I am so glad she did because thats the one dress i ended up falling in love with and keeping for my shower or maternity photos! So thank you to Bump Style Box for this great experience.

I encourage you ladies to try it! If you don't like what they send you can send it right back for free (:
The price range varies and be sure to included what you usually spend on clothing so they can send you items that they think you'd be comfortable purchasing.  The range can be from $35-700 so you really can find anything you're looking for there!

Check out some of the looks i put together below! I'm saving my favorite dress to show you guys for either my upcoming shower or our maternity photos.

This first look is so stinkin pretty, i love love love this berry floral printed tight midi dress. At first i wasn't too sure how it would fit on me, but the minute i put it on i fell in love.  It has plenty of room for my budding belly to grow because its made for us pregnant mamas, so its stretchy and comfortable.  I love long sleeves with a tight dress! Its just the right about of sexy yet classy. This dress was perfect for Valentines day, i hope some of you that follow me on instagram (@tessaarmstrong8), where i first posted this look, were able to get your hands on it beforehand.  I took this photo while trying the dress on after opening my Bump Style Box so I hadnt yet styled it. I would wear this with a nice black leather jacket, a stud or statement earing and a beautiful showcasing ring.  Some black sexy ankle strap heels would be perfect. See below for some looks that would go nicely paired with this piece.

^^^Pearl studs would be super cute, wear this with a nude or red lip (two above are great picks), i put a few affordable forever 21 leather jackets & a pricier real leather option, and a couple jewelry options that would go niceley that are GREAT price wise.

The next look:

This adorable teal maxi dress was SO flattering and So comfortable. I know us pregnant moms are all about comfort and light weight material that gives us breathing room and air flow (; lol  I loved this dress so much and would wear it dressed down with just a cute necklace and sandals, or you can dress it up like i did and wear it with a floral kimono, a long pendant necklace, and a wedge heel. I wore this to a ladies Valentines Day tea and it was a big hit. In my opinion, a comfortable long maxi dress like this is a pregnancy must have. I could live in this maxi dress and wish i had it in several colors!

(*love that top part and how it folds)

 Shop the look here:

^^^I posted a couple cute floral kimonos above that are all super affordable, that free people kimono is a bit pricier but well worth the splurge for how much use you would get out of it and the quality is superb.  I added a couple turquoise and fun pendant necklaces that i think would go perfectly with this look.  I love a long necklace that draws the eyes right to that cute baby bump.^^^

The next look:

This cute printed midi dress is perfect for spring and summer! I love the top royal blue cut out and would draw the eyes up with a gorgeous pair of turquoise, gold or saphire blue earings. I also love this look with a turquoise cuff like i have on in the above photos.  This would be cute with gladiator sandals or some regular strappy sandals in nude or tan.

 Shop the above look here:
^^^Okay some of these pieces are soooo drool worthy like that free people caged cuff!! FOR ONLY $38! I think i need it.  Also i added some cute gold fun geometric shaped earings that would be gorgeous. You all know im a sucker for long pendant neckaces so here are two forever 21 options in saphire that would be pretty as well. I love those turquoise stud earings, they're super pricey but could be worn a thousand times over the years. Also loving that free people caged statement ring! ^^^^

The next look:

This lace and fringe kimono was gooorj. I love bohemian looks, and i have always been drawn to kimonos.. so i think a girl can never ever have too many! Especially while pregnant, they hide all the places a mama would want to hide (bum, thighs, arms, hips?.. the list goes on) and yet still accentuate that adorable bump where the miracle is taking place.  I wore this kimono paired with a midi black floral strapless number that is comfortable and can be casual or dressed up. I think a long boho necklace would be super cute with this. Maybe even a pop of lip color like light pink or bright pink?

Shop the look here:
Below i listed two easy and afforable floral maxi dresses, a dainty cute gold bow stud earing, and a couple boho style long necklaces.

What We Wear: Ryan + Reese

Hi ladies, a friend of mine just opened up a brand new online boutique called Ryan + Reese and they have great hip, on trend, adorable clothing & accessories! Ryan + Reese has a ton of fun bohemian chic, hippy, free-spirited flirty outfit options.. which we all know is right up my alley. They sent me a couple items and i couldnt wait to put on these fun leather shorts with adorable detailed scalloped edges! You MUST get your hands on some of these. They are a high to mid waisted short, super comfortable, but really sexy and effortlessly dress up your outfit. I can't wait to wear these on a date night with my man and stack on some statement necklaces and maybe a fun lip stain.  You can pair these shorts with a tank, a chunky sweater, or even a rocker T like this Beatles Tshirt I paired mine with. I threw on a mint colored belt and necklace for a splash of subtle color.  These will definitely be a pair of shorts i wear on repeat throughout the summer.  Check out what else Ryan + Reese has in their shop & follow along on instagram, link(s) at the bottom of this post.
